Residents of the Town of Brookneal spent their weekend, April 19, 20, and 21, on the Staunton River/Brookneal Boat Ramp participating in the 2024 Striped bass Fishing tournament and the 2024 Catfish Tournament.
Big thanks to the American Legion Post #155 of Brookneal (Catfish Tournament) and the Brookneal Dixie Youth Baseball (Striped Bass Tournament) for being sponsors of the events.
